SYNOPSIS
Sarah raised in New York visits Malaysia for the first time and learns why her grandfather, Gen and mother, Sophia have not seen each other since she was born and why they care so much about their cultural traditions.
IPG Capital recently invested "The Kid From The Big Apple" film. The film have completed 100% of the movie shooting as of March 7, 2015. Movie press conference was held on March 5, 2015. "The Kid From The Big Apple" artistes, Ti Lung & Jessica Hester Hsuan. Before the shooting, "The Kid From The Big Apple" has the head start, respectively, won the 2013 New York and 2014 Hollywood Screenplay Contest award for excellence.
In addition, after Malaysia, "The Kid From The Big Apple" will be released overseas countries. "The Kid From The Big Apple" will planed submit to international movie awards such as Golden Horse Awards, Berlin Film Awards.
"The Kid From The Big Apple" is a story of a relaxed, warm and touching as the spindle, the director wanted to women's point of view to presenting a different ethics and family, young and old generation gap.
